Jogging Stroller

I got a jogging stroller for my birthday... yeah! This morning Cal just looked so cute in his "jail bird" outfit I had to take a picture. We had to put on a hat because it was a little chilly this morning. He loves going on walks (soon I will be running) and falls asleep by the time we get home. Lets hope I keep up my working out once I go back to work next Monday!

Swing

So tonight was the first night I really cooked dinner. I decided to get out the swing for Big Cal (as Jared likes to call him), so I could cook while Jared was at work. Cal loved it and eventually took a nap in it :) The other pic is just him looking so cute.

Gramma Jane comes to visit

Gramma Jane came to visit us this weekend. Calvin had fun reading stories with Gramma and watching us eat ribs... yum!

1 month check up

The doctor said Cal is doing great. He still has "baby acne" but it should go away this next month. His right eye still gets build up in it sometimes, but its much better. He said we will watch it because it could be a clogged tear duct.

Ninja

1 month bday

Calvin is 1 month old today! He is showing off his cute polo and cargo shorts. We celebrated my 27th bday and his 1 month bday last night with Jared's family. We ate at Cheesecake Factory and then had cake. Cal only had milk... but he said it was delicious!

Game Day!

Carrier

We tried out the carrier last night and Cal seemed to like it. Or at least he didn't make a fuss. It will be great for the Fair or just taking a walk around the block. Friday he will be 1 month old.... crazy how fast it's going!

Church

Today was Calvin's first Sunday to go to church. When we arrived he was asleep and I was very hopeful he would sleep the whole service... yeah right. The first thirty minutes he cried and I tried changing him, feeding him a bottle (which he spat up- I think because the milk was too cold), and he just kept crying. Jared came out to the lobby to save me. We swaddled Cal and then he slept for the last part of the service. So it was an adventure and hopefully he will be more content to start out with next week. We will see :)

Play Gym

I got out the play gym yesterday and Calvin liked it. We had a great 10 minutes of tummy time on it. He only got upset when I moved his head to the left. He always has it straight to the right.

Bottle

Yesterday I started pumping... weird. But Calvin took to the bottle imidiatly. He downed 2 oz that Jared fed him. This is exciting, as I am going back to work Oct 10th and will need him to take the bottle.

Doctor

Yesterday Cal woke up with his right eye swollen shut with some gunk in it. I'd been noticing some stuff in his eye the past week when he woke up but I thought it was just "sleep". So we took him to the doctor and he said it just needed to be rinsed out with eye rinse and it would go away. We had to see a different doctor, and I wasn't impressed with this guy. But he said it wasn't an infection and it is looking better today. Also, he weighs 10 lbs 4 oz... my growing boy :)
