Happy Birthday Pop-Pop and Aunt Kris

Before the family left, we celebrated Pop-Pop's and Aunt Kris' birthdays! We had a yummy breakfast at Grammie & Pop-Pop's hotel. The girls had ladybug hats and the boys had firetruck hats. It was fun!

2010 State Fair of Texas

As many of you know, every year my family comes in town for the State Fair! We always join our old family friends, the Smiths. This was the 24th consecutive year our two families have gone to the fair. We started out with 9 people and now we are up to 21. 7 of the 21 are kids under the age of 6! It gets a little crazy and the day is long but it is so much fun!
Highlights from this year included feeding the animals, watching the dog show, riding a train, and checking out a real train up close. It started out a little wet but by the afternoon it was nice out. Calvin loved watching the Marines play music so much he barely blinked. We ate all kinds of fried food..... oreos, pralines, cheese, and onions. I think we won't eat for a week! All in all a great year!

This was Dawson's first year. He was a trooper!

Early Bday Night

Tonight we had some family fun at Fresco's Mexican Restaurant to celebrate my birthday a little. Cal and Liam had a blast eating lots of chips, salsa, and guacamole. Here are a few pics of the cutest cousins ever!

Football and School

Go Cowboys! We are looking forward to football season in our house.... but all in different ways. I enjoy watching the Cowboys. Calvin loves to run around our house, throw footballs, and tackle whoever is in site. Jared loves his fantasy life of football and watching as many games as he can. Luckily, he is busy with school so we won't have it on all the time this season :)

Cal's teachers are wonderful!! They have a website that we can check for weekly pictures of all the fun things they do. Check it out :)
