Cal's Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Cal's 4th birthday! He had a batman party with his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Cal did not like everyone singing to him, so Dad had to blow out the candles. I would say it was a superhero theme in the presents... Ironman mask, Hulk costume, Batman suit, Thor hammer, etc. Everyday Cal dresses up in his superhero costumes and runs around the house... oh the joy of having a boy!

Adeline's Baptism

On August 12th Adeline Kay was baptized. The whole family came to church with us to watch and then we celebrated at the Brown house. Thank you to all our family for your love and support!

Galveston

We spent a week in Galveston with my parents and sister's family. It was a blast!! The beach cabin was right on the beach so we could hang out under the house and the kids could play in the sand. Activities included.... crabbing, flying kites, digging, swimming, walking The Strand, eating breakfast at the Galvez Hotel, buying treasures at Murdochs, riding the ferry and feeding the birds. Cal took swimming lessons in July. He was so brave he went down the big slide three times and jumped off the diving board all by himself (a lifeguard caught him of course). This year he was in the preschool class, but next year he will be in level 1.
