My Room!

I am now a Speech-Language Pathologist-Intern!!! I have one year of being an intern and then if I pass the checklist I will be a "full SLP" with my Clinical Competency Certificate. As an intern I pretty much function as a full SLP but I have a supervisor that checks on me an hour a week in person or on the phone. She is a friend of mine and it is working out wonderfully so far. Here are a few pics of my room/office. I work at an elementary school with kids in Kindergarten up to Fourth grade. I LOVE it!! Those two years of you know what were very worth it!

Mommy & Cal Day

Cal and I had a great day today!!! Here are some highlights.... fed the ducks, played at the park, went to the movies (Winnie the Pooh), had milk & cookies at Starbucks, and played fire fighter.

I love my boy!!

Cal is 3!!

On August 19th Big Cal turned 3!!!! He is 39 inches tall (99th %tile) and 38.6 lbs (99th %tile). As always he is literally "Big Cal." It's funny that I have kindergarten students at work that are smaller than he is! He was not into taking pictures around his birthday so these are the few I had.

Cal's favorites are:
Food: fruit, vegetables, and sweets
Drink: milk
Movie: The Smurfs or Alvin & the Chipmunks
Toy: big fire truck and Thomas the train fire station.
TV show: Handy Manny... still!! We are so tired of this show
Activities: dress up like a fire fighter and play fire fighter, play trucks, pretend play

He watched his very own first movie he is in.... the sonogram video when I was 5 months pregnant. He was asking so many questions.... "I kick you mommy?"
