Early Xmas

I know, I know... it's WAY too early to put up Christmas decorations, BUT I have a good excuse. Cal and I will be traveling for Thanksgiving (Tuesday night to Saturday), and I have finals right after the Thanksgiving. So, unless I wanted to wait until the week before xmas, I had to do it now. Cal and I had so much fun! I made homemade chocolate chip cookies, played Christmas music, Cal helped decorate our little tree and we read the Christmas Story. Dad came home and laughed at us, but was happy to have some warm cookies :)
Side note.... our Christmas tree seems so dinky and ghetto, but it's small and Cal doesn't get into it, so that's nice.

Friday Night Fun

Tonight we had some family fun outside. Daddy taught Cal how to swing a bat AND puff on a cigar. Cal was coloring with Mommy and suddenly put one up to his mouth and made a puffing noise.... hilarious! Don't worry everyone, Cal only had a puff on his crayon cigar.

What's going on......

Nothing much really. Cal is as cute as ever of course! I have finals after thanksgiving break.... the home stretch!! I have good grades so far, so I'm not stressed about finals or anything. Jared has his first play off game for varsity football Saturday night. He is ready for football season to be over... so are Cal and me!! Work is going good for Jared and I both. Jared got his schedule for UD in the Spring. He will have a night class Wed from 7 to 10 pm and then a class Mon/Wed from 3 to 4:20. Luckily this works with our schedule and Gamma won't have to keep Cal as much as she has been this Fall. I looked on my camera and I have NO pictures since the last post! I know, ridiculous... I will work on that the next few days :)
